Established in 1999 Gemilang Latif Associates was founded by Ar. Mahri Latif during the economy down-turn in South-east Region in 1997.
Our philosophy derives from the traditional background of the standard human measurement. We discover and evolute the method of ‘depa' or ‘dapa' and ‘sirang' as the main concept ingredient in the design process. Thus this reflects the identity of Gemilang Latif Associates (GLAS) in bringing up the sustaining features of the Malay architecture which make GLAS unique.

The firm is committed in producing quality local human capacity in the technical field, innovation, and design creativity. We are very proud that GLAS can contribute to the industry, through giving work placement and support ground for technical students from MTSSR, MKJB, ITB, Vokasional Schools and Universities to be attached inside the firm.
GLAS is a fully registered Architect firm with the Ministry of Development, Brunei Darussalam since its establishment. In 2009, the practice was upgraded as a listed Architect Consultant.
